Esophagus:


Malignancies of the esophagus are essentially Adenocarcinoma, Squamous cell carcinoma, mesenchymal tumors, Gastrointestinal Stromal Cell Tumors (GIST). Patients of esophageal cancer present with symptoms of inability or difficulty in swallowing. Any such person with these complaint must undergo an Upper GI Endoscopy.
